What’s for Lunch? Really Stuffed Pitas

This recipe came from me. I’m trying to work on throwing things together without a recipe and also include a wide variety of colors in my meals.  The pita is 7 grain Food for Life Pocket Bread, I spread hummus on the inside than added cucumber, tomato, bean sprouts, spinach, carrots, and red cabbage.

What did you have for lunch?


I love to learn, and I consider myself to be a very fluid person so I enjoy taking what I learn and allowing it to make a difference in my life. My latest transformation has been eating healthier and working out. I never thought that I would be reaching for fruit when I crave something sweet and that I would actually look forward to going to the gym.

    This looks like such a great lunch! I love love love stuffing pitas with veggies and hummus, it’s different from just a plain old sandwich that can sometimes get boring.
