What’s for Snack? Raw Lemon Bars

I’ve been interested in trying raw recipes, mostly because I need food that I can pack with me while I’m out during the day that doesn’t need to be warmed. I love LaraBars and have been wanting to make something like them since they are a splurge for me. So here is the first raw recipe I’ve tried and it’s for my LaraBar copycat, its from The Rawtarian.

I had planned on making them bigger portions but they are so sweet to me that I cut them into small squares. If you want to make them look fancy for dessert add an almond on top and sprinkle coconut on the plate (I didn’t eat mine like that, it’s for picture purposes only, lol). I use these as a sweet protein addition to my on the go meals.

Have you ever tried to make a copy of something that you purchased from the store?


I love to learn, and I consider myself to be a very fluid person so I enjoy taking what I learn and allowing it to make a difference in my life. My latest transformation has been eating healthier and working out. I never thought that I would be reaching for fruit when I crave something sweet and that I would actually look forward to going to the gym.

  1. This looks so good! I’ve made raw vegan ice cream using avocados and bananas. Turned out excellently.
