What’s for Dessert? Nana’s lemon cookie

I’ve been craving having cravings lately so I decided to go to the store and treat myself to something I don’t normally eat, cookies. I came across this gluten free cookie made by Nana’s. I tried the lemon and the ginger flavor. I was excited to find a vegan, sugar free, and gluten free cookie but unfortunately I didn’t like it. It had a dry taste to it like the flour wasn’t mixed well. I also tried the berry vanilla cookie bars and the berries had an awkward taste also.

Well I appreciate the option of a gluten free cookie that is also void of other things I don’t eat so I will give them a thumbs up for trying. Normally I eat raw vegan desserts but I’m trying to avoid nuts while I heal from the gluten intolerance.

I love to learn, and I consider myself to be a very fluid person so I enjoy taking what I learn and allowing it to make a difference in my life. My latest transformation has been eating healthier and working out. I never thought that I would be reaching for fruit when I crave something sweet and that I would actually look forward to going to the gym.

My children think the Nana brand cookies are the greatest things since sliced bread *chuckle* Of course they only get to pick those out as special treats.
